Annota

Visual feedback for web agencies

Your client points. You know exactly what to do.

Clients click any element on your staging site and leave a comment. You get a task with a screenshot, the element and its context. No more “move that a bit to the left”.

One <script> tag. No extensions. No accounts for clients.

The problem

Feedback arrives from five places and none of them says which button.

With Annota it becomes

How it works

From “which button?” to resolved.

  1. 01

    Add one script

Drop the tag on your staging site. No build step, no extensions, no client accounts.

    <script src="annota.app/w.js" data-site="vatra"></script>
  2. 02

    The client clicks to point

They pick the element, then type or record a voice note. Screenshot and context are captured for them.

  3. 03

Your team gets a clear task

Page, element, viewport, browser and screenshot. Assign it, set a deadline, mark it done.

Features

Built for agnecies, not for ticketing.

Click to select

Clients select exactly what they see. You get the selector, position and page.

Automatic screenshots

A capture with every comment. Form fields are masked.

Voice notes

Some clients explain better out loud. Up to 60 seconds, pinned to the element.

Assignees and deadlines

Every task has an owner and a due date. Take over from a teammate in one click.

Email reminders

Your team gets an email when a deadline is close. Nothing slips.

Access codes

Clients get in with a per-project code. Revoke it anytime, no accounts to manage.

Pricing

Free while we're in beta.

You pay for active projects, not people. Client reviewers are unlimited on every plan.

Trust

Your clients' data stays theirs.

Form fields and anything marked data-pfw-private are masked in screenshots. Clients get in with an access code you can revoke at any time. Every action your team takes is kept in the history.

  • Automatic masking in screenshots
  • Revocable code-based access
  • Full action history
  • Built with GDPR in mind
TODOFAQ: to be addedTODO: the FAQ section is still missing on staging.
Do my clients need an account?
No. They get an access code for the project and leave feedback right on the site.
Does it work on any website?
Anywhere you can add a <script> tag: WordPress, Webflow, Next.js, plain HTML.
What happens to form data?
Form fields are masked in screenshots automatically, and sensitive areas can be excluded with an attribute.
How much does it cost?
Nothing while we're in beta. At launch you pay per active project, not per user.

The next client who says “move that” will point at exactly what they mean.
